We are pleased to confirm that we have been given the go-ahead to give the Covid 19 Vaccine to our patients!
There are still lots of details that need to be clarified, however, we have been working with our fantastic local surgeries to ensure that our patients are offered it.
๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ ๐ธ๐ป๐ผ๐:
โญ All of our patients who are eligible will be offered this in line with NHS Englands recommendations.
โญ We are working hard in the background to identify the patients within these first groups.
โญ The vaccine will be given at Terrington St Johns surgery, however, our staff will be part of the team that will be administering the vaccine.
โญ In order to deliver the vaccine, you may find that we have to reduce our capacity to see patients with routine problems.
โญ We won't receive much notice that the vaccine will be arriving locally but will update eligible patients directly as soon as we have more details.
๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ป'๐ ๐ธ๐ป๐ผ๐ (so please don't call our phone lines):
โญ When exactly the vaccine will arrive. It could be weeks before we are allocated any.
โญ When you will be able to book in (we will contact you rather than the other way around).
โญ Which vaccine we will receive.
โญ Who will administer the vaccine to patients who can not get to the vaccination site.
This is fantastic news for our patients, and we are very proud to be working with our local surgeries to be part of the solution.

โญ Please do not contact the surgery directly about the vaccine. As soon as we know more we will contact patients.
โญ Try and be accomodating if we have to change appointments around.
โญ A large percentage of our time is sadly taken with answering hospital administrative queries. Please contact the hospital directly for these queries (you can call PALS on 01553 613343). Please do not be offended if our teams direct you to them. This allows us to deal with our patients with genuine health needs.
Over the past 10 months, the Surgery and Dispensary have been supported in an incredible way by our Patients. Thank you. To all the volunteers, local businesses, the council, and of course our fantastic team we are very grateful.
We still have a long way to go, but this is a great next step for all of us. Please stay safe.
We now offer a medication delivery service.
